Gusta spent four seasons with the Cougars and will have one season of eligibility remaining. He redshirted in 2021 but has played in 33 games with 22 starts over the last three seasons, including all 12 games in 2024. Pro Football Focus gave Gusta the fourth-best pass rush grade for an interior defensive lineman in the country. His 22 quarterback hurries were second on the team.
The Wildcats have lost 23 players to the portal this cycle. Gusta is the 15th addition for Kentucky.
