Herb Jones out indefinitely with torn labrum

The injury bug has become an injury parasite for the New Orleans Pelicans. It won’t go away.

Friday, the team announced that forward Herb Jones would miss time with a torn labrum in his right shoulder. An MRI confirmed the injury.

Jones missed all of November dealing with an injury to the same shoulder. He returned December 5 and played five weeks. He will now be out indefinitely.

Jones was an NBA All-Defensive first teamer last season. He joins star Brandon Ingram among the injured Pelicans.

New Orleans is currently 7-31 and in last place in the Western Conference.
