The 2026 NFL season will be here in a matter of months and projections around the league are already available. From win totals to odds for season openers and more, Vegas has already shown a bit of what it believes about each club.

For the New Orleans Saints, much appears to remain unknown because of what still remains to be seen. Here a look at several odds that show just how Vegas feels about New Orleans in the upcoming season, using information from FanDuel Sportsbook.

2026 Win Total – 6.5

FanDuel currently has the team’s win total set at the team’s record from last year, wherein New Orleans finished 6-11. Improving on that total is currently at minus-200 odds, while falling below is set at plus-170.

NFC South Winner – plus-260

New Orleans isn’t favored to win its division even though the team was in contention late in the year in 2025. Instead, the team carries the second-best odds behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at plus-190. There are no minus odds in the division, meaning a lot of changes in favor could be on the way.

To Miss NFC Playoffs – minus-225

The Saints aren’t favored to win their division and as such, aren’t favored to make the playoffs. It’s u likely that more than one NFC South team cracks the postseason.

To Make NFC Playoffs – plus-188

Though not favored to make the playoffs, the odds aren’t long that they do. A strong start to the season, especially on the road to Detroit, would likely shift these odds in a hurry.

To Win Super Bowl – plus-8000

Beyond making the playoffs, every team’s primary objective is to win a Super Bowl. Vegas matches the public perception that while the Saints appear to be headed in the right direction, there’s not yet a reason to buy championship stock in 2026. That is, until the on-field product is seen.

Week 1 at Detroit Lions – plus-7

New Orleans will open the season as a touchdown underdog on the road against Detroit.

Week 7 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris – plus-1.5

Had quarterback Aaron Rodgers not made the decision to return to Pittsburgh, the Saints may have been favored as the hosts of the NFL’s first game held in France. The pomp and circumstance around the event by the league may make it a challenging situation for the Saints to concentrate leading into the game. But New Orleans is at least only a light underdog in this matchup.
