Former Notre Dame guard Sam Pendleton has found a new home after entering the transfer portal just three days ago. The redshirt freshman committed to the Tennessee Volunteers Friday.
Pendleton started seven games this year for the Fighting Irish. However, after several injuries across the offensive line, he was benched halfway through the season behind two seniors. He becomes the fourth player to land with the Vols from the transfer portal.
Pendleton was a three-star recruit from Pfafftown, North Carolina. He is ranked the No. 141 prospect in the transfer portal and 14th best interior offensive lineman. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
