LSU and Mississippi State will play game three of their series Saturday at 6 p.m. First pitch was originally scheduled for 2 p.m., but the threat of inclement weather in Baton Rouge Saturday has forced the schedule change.

Rain also pushed the start time for game two back nearly three hours Friday night. First pitch was scheduled for 6:30 but the game didn’t start until 9:15 as storms moved through the area.

LSU (25-3, 6-2) has won both games in the series, rallying for an 8-6 win Thursday and holding on for a 2-1 decision Friday.

Sophomore Chase Shores will get the ball for the Tigers Saturday while the Bulldogs (16-11, 1-7) will counter with senior Karson Ligon.
