Kade Anderson dominated Oklahoma on Thursday. Monday the SEC named him pitcher of the week.
The sophomore left hander fired a complete game shutout at Oklahoma striking out 14 Sooners in a 2-0 victory. The effort was LSU’s first complete game since Paul Skenes in the 2023 regional opener against Tulane and first shutout since AJ Labas against Lamar in 2018.
Anderson is now tops in the SEC this season in wins (6) and innings pitched (47.1), and he is No. 2 in the league in strikeouts (75).
