A third LSU Tiger was selected Friday night in the NFL Draft when the Denver Broncos picked Sai’vion Jones in the third round with the 101st pick.

The 6-foot-6, 280 pound senior played in 51 career games with 29 starts for the Tigers. In 2024, he registered 40 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
Jones is a Vacherie, La. native who prepped at St. James High School where he was a four-star prospect and the No 5 player in Louisiana.
Tight end Mason Taylor was selected by the Jets in Round 2 and offensive tackle Emery Jones went the Ravens in Round 3.
