Monday night’s highly anticipated College World Series matchup between LSU and UCLA has been delayed until 10:00 am on Tuesday.
The game was delayed at 7:20pm, and the rain was still falling in Omaha when the decision was made shortly after 10:00pm.
The delay began after the third inning with LSU leading, 5-3.
UCLA struck for three runs in the top of the first inning off of LSU starter Anthony Eyanson. The Tigers responded with four runs of their own in the bottom of the frame. Jake Brown ripped and RBI single through the right side and Jared Jones pumped a three-run homerun over the centerfield wall.
The Tigers added a run in the third on Luis Hernandez’s RBI single.
