Zac Cowan will start on the mound for LSU against Arkansas on Wednesday night.
The junior right-hander spent the majority of the season as LSU’s lock down closer, but four of his last five outings, including a start in the regional final against Little Rock, have been bumpy.
Cowan (3-3, 3.09ERA), started 17 games at Wofford a season ago. He won 10 games as the Terrier ace.
Back on May 9, Cowan worked three shutout innings out of the bullpen in LSU’s extra-inning win over Arkansas.
