NEW ORLEANS, La. — It’s been a busy week for the New Orleans Saints who have made a slew of transactions official. The team signed three standout UFL players and moved on from a pair of players in the process.
Per the Saints’ announcement, the team signed tight end Seth Green, cornerback Jayden Price and offensive lineman Barry Wesley.
Green is a unique player. He began at quarterback before transitioning to wide receiver and eventually tight end throughout his collegiate years. As a member of the Arlington Renegade, he played exclusively tight end, but has wildcat quarterback experience from his collegiate days.
Wesley is a versatile offensive lineman who has played both tackle spots, left guard and even center throughout his collegiate and professional career. He spent the spring with the UFL’s Birmingham Stallions where he manned over 400 pass blocking snaps and allowed just two sacks in the process.
Price spent his collegiate years with North Dakota State. He went undrafted in the NFL, landing with the Atlanta Falcons in 2024. After being released at roster cut downs, the corner found his way to the UFL initially with the Stallions before landing with the Renegade via a trade. Price was one of the league’s top returners ranking No. 2 in the league with 197 point return yards in 2025. He also finished top-10 in kick return yards.
The Saints also had two corresponding releases, parting ways with both cornerback Tra Fluellen and running back Xazavian Valladay. Both were seen as underdogs going into training camp and now will look for their next opportunities on the open market.
