Left-handed pitching help is on the way.
Hours after LSU celebrated its 2025 national championship at Alex Box Stadium, Danny Lachenmayer committed to the champs.
Lachenmayer, a left-hander from North Dakota State, announced on his social media platforms that he’s headed to Baton Rouge.

The southpaw struck out 56 hitters in 38 innings as a freshman reliever for the Bison.
In North Dakota’s midweek stay in Baton Rouge, he worked 1.2 innings allowing two runs on one hit with three strikeouts against LSU. He fanned Ethan Frey, Luis Hernandez and Derek Curiel.
His final seven outing of the season totaled 13.2 innings without an earned run allowed. He led the Bison with nine saves.
