Two former Tigers are headed to Atlanta to play in the MLB All-Star Futures Game.
Gage Jump and Tommy White, both 2024 draft choices of the A’s, have been named to the American League squad for the All-Star Weekend showcase.
Jump is 8-3 with a 2.09 ERA in two minor league stops this season. He started with Lansing in High-A and is now with Double-A Midland in the Texas League. The left-hander has racked up 89 strikeouts in 73.1 innings of work in his first professional season.
White is hitting .279 with nine home runs and 16 doubles in 48 games with Lansing.
The Futures Game will be held at Truist Park in Atlanta on Saturday, July 12 at 3:00 central. It will be broadcast live on MLB Network.
