Former Oregon southpaw Santiago Garcia has committed to Jay Johnson and the Tigers.
Garcia hails from Las Cruces, N.M., like Tiger shortstop Steven Milam.
After a season at Central Arizona Community College, Garcia played one year for the Ducks. He worked 30 innings out of the bullpen, posting a 4.20 ERA, 40 strikeouts and 19 walks with four saves.
He only allowed one earned run in his final 10 appearances which spanned 10.2 innings. Over those outings he struck out 12 and walked four.
