As a function of deepening their brand relationship with France, the New Orleans Saints are sending a travel delegation to Paris as a part of the NFL’s Global Marketing Plan, first reported by NOLA.com’s Luke Johnson.
The team followed with an announcement via press release on Monday afternoon.
Among the group traveling are Saints Owner Gayle Benson and Linebacker Demario Davis. Also included is Jack Del Rio, the head coach of the Paris Musketeers, with whom the Saints established a partnership in May, and additional Saints staff.
The trip will take place July 10-14, 2025 and will include “community engagements, media initiatives, gameday activations, and strategic relationship-building with local stakeholders,” per the release.
Some of the events set to take place include a happy hour meet and greet with the Musketeers and fans, a Saints NFL FLAG Clinic, an appearance at the Musketeers’ July 13 game against the Vienna Vipers and a Bastille Day river cruise content capture featuring Davis.
Davis has long been a supporter of the Saints ongoing and successful girls high school flag football initiative. He now gets a chance to continue his support of the growing spot internationally with this important venture.
Benson will also meet with ambassadors, community leaders and more to help grow the relationship between Paris, France, Louisiana and New Orleans.
“This visit will showcase the Saints international commitment and lay the foundation for expanding their international presence in France and across Europe.”
There is an expectation that the Saints will soon compete in a game in France, likely Paris, as a part of the NFL’s international series. This feels like an advantageous venture ahead of that potential.
