There have been many rumors that the New Orleans Saints would be among a group of NFL teams to release new helmets and/or uniforms this month, and now the Saints have indicated at least one will be announced this week.
The Saints took to social media on Tuesday to tease the release of a new-look helmet accompanied by the date July 9, 2025.

This indicates an upcoming announcement on Wednesday that could unveil the team’s new helmet. The club has made no suggestion of a uniform release at this time, but one is expected.
The initial report from Sports Logo’s Andrew Lind pinpointed July 22, the team’s veteran and rookie report day for training camp, as the expected announcement of new alternate uniforms, which could still be in the way.
The Saints join the Washington Commanders, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers in releasing new looks ahead of the 2025 NFL season.
The new threads are expected to replace either the Saints’ beloved Color Rush look or the 1967/68 throwbacks, per Lind. But for now, fans can be excited for a fresh take to align with the team’s next era.
This will be the team’s first new helmet announcement since before the 2022 season when the team debuted their new black helmets, which received mixed reactions.
