The 2025 MLB Draft gets underway Sunday night. The first three rounds and compensatory picks will air Sunday on ESPN and MLB Network. The remaining 17 rounds will be completed on Monday, July 14.
Several SEC teams expect to have at least one former player hear their name called at the podium tonight with anywhere between six to ten total players selected in round one alone.
Additionally, Tennessee, Arkansas, and LSU are all projected to have multiple players selected in the first round. LSU LHP Kade Anderson is expected to be selected No. 1 overall which would give the Tigers their third No. 1 overall pick all-time in MLB Draft history.
