Greg Brooks engaged to longtime girlfriend

Former Tiger Greg Brooks has a wedding to look forward to.

On Thursday, Brooks posted to his Instagram account that he and longtime girlfriend, Kurstin Robinson are engaged.

“The Best Moment Of My Life. Can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together, and continue breaking The Knob TOGETHER! I Love You,” Brooks captioned the post. He had not posted anything to Instagram since September 14, 2023.

Robinson has reportedly been by Brooks’s side as he has recovery from brain surgery as a result of a tumor he was diagnosed with in the fall of 2023.

Brooks was a four-star prospect in the 247 Composite in 2019. He signed with Arkansas and played in 34 games over three seasons with the Razorbacks. He transferred to his home state LSU in 2022 and started all 14 games for the Tigers that season.

Taking advantage of the COVID season, Brooks would return to LSU for the 2023 season but played in only two games due to his medical complications.
Brooks has filed suit against LSU and the medical provider, alleging negligence in his care which has left him disabled. Brooks has discussed the situation publicly twice, once on Good Morning America and a second time on The Pivot.
