INGLEWOOD, Calif. – The injuries keep rolling in for the New Orleans Saints in their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.
After losing two offensive linemen in the first half, Trevor Penning and Will Clapp, two pass-catchers have since gone down.
Early in the third quarterback, wide receiver Bub Means was carted off of the field. A couple of drives later, newly-signed tight end Mason Pline went down on a special teams play and was assisted off the field. He was then helped back to the locker room by sideline staff.

Means had his right shoe removed while being carted off. The wideout had an ankle injury last season that severely limited his opportunities throughout the season.
Pline was signed just last week after being waived by the San Francisco 49ers, where he signed as an undrafted free agent last season.
New Orleans is currently dealing with a host of injuries at tight end, with two players, Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
