LSU baseball to play in Jacksonville tourney, host Northeastern in 2026

The national champions are nailing down the path back to Omaha.

Milwaukee will be visiting for Opening Weekend at Alex Box Stadium.

LSU will travel to Jacksonville in Week 2 of the 2026 season to play in the Jax College Baseball Classic held at 121 Financial Ballpark in Jacksonville. Indiana, Notre Dame and Central Florida will join the Tigers. None of those three qualified for the NCAA tournament in June.

Coastal Carolina and Alabama were among last year’s participants in Jacksonville.

LSU will host Northeastern and Dartmouth in Week 3 at Alex Box Stadum. Northeastern won 49 games in 2025 and entered the postseason with 27 consecutive wins. They have made the NCAA Tournament three of the last five years.

Week 4, the final non-conference weekend, Sacramento State will visit Baton Rouge coming off of a 32-26 season in the WAC.

LSU’s fall is also booked. LSU will once again travel to Biloxi to take on Samford on Sunday, November 2. The following week LSU will head down I-12 to play Southeastern Louisiana on November 9.
