Myles was a five star recruit in the 2025 class and a consensus Top 35 player nationally out of high school. He played his high school ball at power house Corner Canyon High School in Utah. The 6-foot-3, 215 pound wideout was called “the most physically gifted receiver in the 2025 class” by On3 recruiting analysts.
Myles becomes the second former five star in as many seasons to be lost for the year with a preseason injury for the Aggies. Last year it was running back Rueben Owens who missed the season with a torn ACL in fall camp.
Losing Myles isn’t a death blow to the wide receiver room in College Station. The question now becomes who will step up in his place, or how much more of the workload will fall on the shoulders of the other pass catchers. Texas A&M was one of the most active, and successful, schools in the country this offseason at bringing in wide receivers and pass catchers through the transfer portal.
Former NC State WR KC Concepcion and Mississippi State transfer Mario Craver were both huge gets for Mike Elko and his staff. Former Alabama and Texas Tight End Amari Niblack is expected to play a key role in this offense, too.
