METAIRIE, La. – The New Orleans Saints saw some key returns to the field during Wednesday’s practice as they prepared for their Week One matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.
Three key players returned to the field after missing previous practices:
- CB Alontae Taylor
- S Julian Blackmon
- S Jordan Howden (may have been limited)
- DT Khristian Boyd (appeared to join after stretch)
Those that were not seen during the open portion of practice were:
Wide receiver Kevin Austin Jr. was present, but observing on the sideline.
The New Orleans Saints are set to release their first injury report of the season later today, detailing player participation and updated injury statuses.
Several players also have new numbers following the roster cutdown to 53:
- Blackmon – 23
- RB Devin Neal – 24
- Burgess – 26
- LB Danny Stutsman – 28
- DE Chris Rumph II – 58
- DT Jonathan Bullard – 98
