It is a very slow start to the slate around the SEC. Most of the biggest games around the league will escape the heat and play under the lights later. However, there are still a few storylines to keep an eye on before the games.

Alabama

Star WR Ryan Williams will be out for their game against Louisiana Monroe. Williams appeared to suffer a concussion last week against Florida State.

Georgia

Due to inclement weather in the area, Georgia’s game against Austin Peay has been moved up an hour to a 2:30 p.m. EST kickoff.

Tennessee

Former five-star offensive tackle David Sanders will have to wait at least another week to make his anticipated debut as a Vol. He will miss his second consecutive game with an upper body injury.

LSU

Four-star quarterback prospect Landon Duckworth will visit LSU. He’s the top dual threat quarterback in the 2026 class and is currently committed to South Carolina.
