NEW ORLEANS, La. – A red zone touchdown run put the New Orleans Saints on the board for the first time in the 2025 NFL Season and made history at the same time.
Saints running back Alvin Kamara scampered in for an 18-yard touchdown in the second offensive possession of the game.

This was scrimmage touchdown No. 1,000 for the Saints in the Caesars Superdome, on the same day the Dome opened its 50th season for the franchise.
New Orleans is now just one of three teams in the NFL to have scored 1,000 scrimmage touchdowns in their home stadium, joining the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs.
The score put the Saints ahead in their matchup with the Arizona Cardinals 7-3 early in the second quarter.
