Jay Johnson has used LSU’s two home football weekends to reel in some top prospects.
Jordin Griffin, an outfielder and third baseman, became the second commitment in as many days for the Tigers when he pledged on Sunday.

Griffin is a standout for Barbe High School in Lake Charles. He’s a gifted athlete who hits left-handed, something Johnson prioritizes in his position players. His strengths are his elite speed and quick hands.
Barbe has produced some standouts in purple and gold like Beau and Bryce Jordan as well as current Tiger Gavin Guidry.
