Sam Pittman has been the most likable coach in the SEC since he accepted the job as head coach in Fayetteville back in 2020. That smile and universal likability is probably what’s kept him off the hot seat for the most part the last two years.
That may have come to a crashing halt Saturday as Arkansas blew a 28-10 lead at Memphis. The Hogs were driving deep in the red zone in the final two minutes before Mike Washington, Jr. fumbled on the seven yard line. Arkansas ultimately lost 32-31.
