Auburn head basketball coach Bruce Pearl is retiring and will be replaced by his son Seven Pearl. The news came Monday afternoon and was reported by Jeff Borzello and Pete Thamel of ESPN.
Breaking: Bruce Pearl is expected to retire as the head coach of Auburn, sources tell @jeffborzello and @PeteThamel.

Pearl spent 11 seasons as the head coach at Auburn, taking the Tigers to two Final Fours and a 246-125 record. He is the winningest coach in Auburn basketball history, leading the Tigers to six NCAA Tournaments in the last eight seasons. He won a program record 32 games this past season.
Steven Pearls has been the associate head coach for the last two seasons.
