Per multiple reports, the New York Giants have announced that they are switching over from quarterback Russell Wilson to rookie passer Jaxson Dart ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The future is now: The #Giants are making first-round rookie QB Jaxson Dart their starter, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

While their upcoming matchup won’t be the most conducive environment for a first-time starter going up against Los Angeles’ great defense, the Week 5 matchup in New Orleans could bode well for the young signal caller.
Both teams could be coming off of their fourth consecutive losses, leaving some rejuvenation to be had around a quarterback change in New York.
Dart was often linked to the Saints throughout the draft process, but ultimately ended up going to the Giants via a first-round trade up. After, the Saints selected rookie Tyler Shough in the second round.
Dart will present the challenge of an unknown entity going into the Saints’ return home following a two-game road trip and has the athleticism and skill set to be a pesky rusher and passer against the New Orleans defense.
If Dart builds momentum against the Chargers, even in a loss, an embattled Saints team may be his next text.
