METAIRIE, La. — There was some positive news for the New Orleans Saints in Thursday’s practice. While the team didn’t get its top pass rusher back, one other key player saw his participation tick up, signaling a return to the lineup on Sundays.
Here is the information from Thursday’s Saints and Buffalo Bills injury report:
New Orleans Saints
Did Not Participate:
OL Dillon Radunz (toe)
DE Chase Young (calf)
Limited Participation:
WR Trey Palmer (hamstring)
WR Devaughn Vele (hip)
Full Participation:
T Taliese Fuaga (knee/back)
DE Cameron Jordan (groin)
T/G Trevor Penning (toe)
The Saints saw Fuaga, their starting right tackle, upgraded to full participation alongside starting left guard Penning. New Orleans is shaping up to have its full starting offensive line for the first time in 2025.
Vele remained limited, however, there was progress in his participation in front of the media. After exiting practice following the stretch portion on Wednesday, the wideout participated in individual drills in front of the media on Thursday. That’s a promising advance for Vele, who missed last week’s game after an in-practice injury.

Buffalo Bills
Did Not Participate:
OL Spencer Brown (calf)
LB Matt Milano (pectoral)
DT Ed Oliver (ankle)
Limited Participation:
DE A.J. Epenesa (pectoral)
The Bills continue to be without three key players on the team. Brown is the Bills’ starting right tackle, Milano is one of the defense’s most important players at the second level and Oliver would help Buffalo shore up its bottom-ranked run defense if available. All three are trending to be out on Sunday, however with Friday left to go, the Bills’ fingers are crossed in the hopes that will change.
