METAIRIE, La. – There were no surprises on the final injury report of the week for the New Orleans Saints as they prepare to travel and take on the Buffalo Bills.
Here is the information from Friday’s practice report including game day designations for Sunday.
New Orleans Saints
Out
OL Dillon Radunz (Toe)
DE Chase Young (Calf)
Questionable
WR Devaughn Vele (Hip)
No Game Designation (Good to go)
WR Trey Palmer (Hamstring)
T/G Trevor Penning (Toe)
T Taliese Fuaga (Knee/Back)
DE Cameron Jordan (Groin)
Young will now miss his fourth game while Radunz will miss his second. It would make sense for rookie defensive end Fadil Diggs to see his final eligible elevation of the season. Meanwhile, Penning is expected to make his debut at left guard, where Radunz has been filling in.
Vele could be an important return for New Orleans this week, giving the team a big body to target in the middle of the Bills defense which will be down one major piece in this second level.
Buffalo Bills
Out
LB Matt Milano (Pectoral)
DT Ed Oliver (Ankle)
Questionable
OL Spencer Brown (Calf)
DE A.J. Epenesa (Pectoral)
The Saints are catching an injury break again this week with both Milano and Oliver out. Whether or not it will be enough for the New Orleans offense to catch a rhythm will be the big question.
Brown was upgraded to limited, however remains questionable to help out the Bills on the offensive line. He is the team’s starting right tackle.
