Penn State lasted all of one week as the CFP favorite.
James Franklin and the Nittany Lions lost yet again to another Top 10 team, and now they’ve flipped positions with their Big Ten brethren, Ohio State.
Oregon remains in the second spot after that victory over Penn State, and Georgia slips from fourth to seventh following its loss to Alabama.
As we head into Week 6 of the 2025 college football season, we have a fresh favorite in the CFP Championship odds.
Penn State was second on the board last week, but the Nittany Lions have moved past rival Ohio State (who slipped into a tie for fourth) and ahead of Texas and Oregon, which are tied for second.
The Ducks’ Dante Moore has moved into the top spot for the Heisman Trophy.
Trinidad Chambliss made the biggest jump in the Heisman odds, going from 50/1 to 12/1.
