Aaron Anderson‘s status is not improving.
The junior wide receiver is still listed as “Questionable” on Friday night’s injury report. He missed the second half of the Ole Miss game with a number of ailments. After a week off for the open date, he’s still not “a go” as Head Coach Brian Kelly termed it on Monday.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel is reporting Anderson is doubtful for the game with a knee injury.
Sources: LSU star wide receiver Aaron Anderson (knee) is considered doubtful for the game against South Carolina tomorrow. He’s LSU’s leader in receiving yards with 305 and his 23 catches are second on the team. pic.twitter.com/Vxrl1tH4M1

LSU has depth at the receiver spot. Barion Brown, Zavion Thomas, Kyle Parker, Nic Anderson and Chris Hilton are likely going to man the position. Kelly said earlier this week that LSU might tighten the rotation a little bit.
Paul Mubenga, who has been “Doubtful” all week, will not play in the game. He was ruled “Out” on Friday’s report. Coen Echols and Carius Curne are the likely replacements.
Kickoff between LSU and South Carolina is set for 6:55 on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
