NEW ORLEANS, La. — Another late addition to the injury report could change the complexion of the New Orleans Saints’ Sunday matchup with the New England Patriots.
New England announced Sunday morning that star defensive tackle Milton Williams was added to the injury report with illness.

Something similar happened for a Saints opponent earlier in the year, the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle added wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba to the injury report on Saturday ahead of their Week 3 bout with New Orleans.
Smith-Njigba ended up playing and did so to the tune of five catches for 96 receiving yards and a touchdown grab.
If Williams is able to go by game time, the Saints will hope he doesn’t have his own version of a productive day against them. If the former Louisiana Tech lineman doesn’t take the field, that could be a big hit to an otherwise very talented rushing defense.
This will be an important name to watch leading up to kickoff. Especially with Saints running back Alvin Kamara expected to go despite being questionable headed into the weekend.
