METAIRIE, La. – The New Orleans Saints will be at their healthiest all season as they travel to take on the Chicago Bears. Only two players are listed as questionable, one of which is still working his way back from Injured Reserve. Meanwhile, the Bears have ruled out two while two big names are uncertain.
Here is the information from the Saints and Bears injury report.
New Orleans Saints
Questionable
- CB Isaac Yiadom (hamstring)
- DT John Ridgeway III (shoulder)
No Designation (Good to Go)
- CB Alontae Taylor (knee)
- WR Chris Olave (ankle)
- RB Alvin Kamara (ankle)
- DT Davon Godchaux (NIR-rest)
Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Friday that while Yiadom could be healthy and good enough to go on Sunday that rookie Quincy Riley is still likely to play. Given that Yiadom only has a couple of practice days under his belt as he returns from his hamstring injury, Riley could still see the bulk of snaps or potentially start. Moore did not say outright that Riley will continue to start when Yiadom is healthy. But it does stand to reason that the rookie will continue to see playing time.
The team does not have to make a decision on Ridgeway until Wednesday, which is when his 21-day practice window closes. At which time he’ll have to either be added to the active roster or he will revert to Injured Reserve for the remainder of the season.
Chicago Bears
Out
- K Cairo Santos (right thigh)
- LB Noah Sewell (concussion)
Questionable
- DL Grady Jarrett (knee)
- RB D’Andre Swift (groin)
- LB Amen Ogbongbemiga (knee)
