Two injured Bears playmakers expected to play vs. Saints

It looks like both the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears will be close to full strength for their Windy City showdown on Sunday.

While the Saints have a near completely clean bill of health after the week’s practices, the Bears have some notable names, including defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, running back D’Andre Swift and wide receiver DJ Moore, listed with some degree of injury.

However, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bears are expecting both of their offensive weapons to be available.

This will create quite the challenge for the Saints’ defense. The unit has mostly struggled throughout the season, but has talented pieces that can lead to a bounce back. With the trio of wideouts the Bears have and Swift, who ran for over 100 rushing yards in last week’s win over the Washington Commanders, that Saints defensive talent will be put to the test.

Swift is the Bears’ leading rusher with 295 rushing yards and a pair of touchdown runs. Moore is the team’s second-leading receiver behind wideout Rome Odunze. Moore has 215 receiving yards and one touchdown catch in the year.
