METAIRIE, La. – In regards to their active players, the New Orleans Saints effectively had full attendance during Thursday’s practice. Players that were missing on Wednesday, like wide receiver Chris Olave, cornerback Alontae Taylor and defensive end Chase Young all returned for the second day of Week 8 work.
The only player not spotted during the open portion of the team’s practice on Thursday was defensive tackle Davon Godchaux.
Thursdays have become a consistent day off for the interior defender, who was present during Wednesday’s practice. This essentially means New Orleans had perfect attendance across its active roster and practice squad.
Tight end Juwan Johnson was in a red non-contact jersey on Wednesday, but was back in a standard uniform on Thursday, showing some progression from his neck injury which led to him being limited to start the week.
The Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will release their injury reports later in the afternoon which will include participation levels and further injury information. At this point, it looks like New Orleans will have positive news around their available players.
