The initial Week 8 availability reports are in for every SEC matchup this weekend. With only Florida and Georgia on bye, seven conference games close out October.
Here are the updated reports released Thursday.
Ole Miss at Oklahoma

Auburn at Arkansas

Auburn will be without two team captains for their trip to Fayetteville this Saturday. Preseason All-SEC Center Connor Lew is out. As is RB Damari Alston who is no longer with the team. The Tigers may have some depth issues at that position with Durrell Robinson also ruled out for Saturday.
Arkansas had three players upgraded from questionable and probable to off the list completely. That includes WR Zach Taylor, TE Jaden Platt and DL Danny Saili.
Alabama at South Carolina

South Carolina will go into the Alabama game the healthiest they’ve been all year since the opener against Virginia Tech. Their only player on Thursday’s report is Cason Henry. Alabama went in the opposite direction with three new players listed.
Tight end Danny Lewis is out, freshman wide receiver Lotzier Brooks is doubtful and starting guard Geno VanDeMark is listed as questionable.
Missouri at Vanderbilt

Cornerback Marlon Jones was upgraded from questionable to off the list for Vanderbilt.
Texas at Mississippi State

Texas will be without All-SEC safety Michael Taaffe, but the Longhorns got some good news with RB CJ Baxter listed as probable.
There were no changes to Thursday’s update.
Texas A&M at LSU

Hunt Palmer gives a full breakdown of the LSU-Texas A&M report here.
Tennessee at Kentucky

Tennessee will be without their starting cornerbacks Rickey Gibson III and Jermod McCoy for the eighth consecutive game. Kentucky is, by far, the most injury riddled team in the league this week with 14 players listed in their report on Wednesday. That list shrunk to 12 on Thursday, but it includes eight players out.
