METAIRIE, La. — Technically speaking, the New Orleans Saints had full attendance at Wednesday’s first Week 10 practice. However, two players were not seen participating to various extents.
Tight end Jack Stoll, who is managing a high-ankle sprain, was in uniform without a helmet and participated only in the stretch period before watching from the sidelines during individual drills.
Meanwhile, right tackle Taliese Fuaga was seen walking along the practice field at one point while in a walking boot. Boots are often used for precautionary measures, meaning that this may not indicate a worse prognosis than expected.
Both players are expected to be week-to-week. Seeing them each present is a positive step in getting them back on their field as soon as is reasonably possible.
Meanwhile, offensive lineman Barry Wesley returned to practice, indicating that his 21-day practice window is now open and the possibility for him to fill the final available spot in the 53-man roster is present.
The Saints will release their injury report soon after practice concludes. That report will include any additional injury management that is under way for the team.
