LSU’s injury situation is becoming clear for Saturday.
Carius Curne, who started at left tackle for the Tigers against Texas A&M, was not listed on the report. That means he was a full participant in Thursday’s practice and is available to play on his injured knee. Starting left tackle Tyree Adams is “Out” for the game, so Curne becomes the likely option to make his third career start, second at left tackle. Curne could give the Tigers a boost in the running game.
The news on junior linebacker Whit Weeks remains poor. Weeks is listed as “Doubtful” with a bone bruise. It appears that Davhon Keys, West Weeks and Harold Perkins will be the starting linebackers as Whit Weeks misses his third consecutive game.
Zach Weeks, the youngest of the three brothers, was also downgraded to “Out” for the game.
For Alabama, sensational sophomore wide receiver Ryan Williams was listed as “Probable”. It’s likely he will play in the game.
LSU and Alabama are set to kickoff just after 6:40 on Saturday night from Tuscaloosa.
