Saints elevate two, downgrade one ahead of Falcons matchup

NEW ORLEANS, La. — The New Orleans Saints have announced their transactions ahead of their Week 12 game against the Atlanta Falcons. 

On Saturday afternoon, the team announced that it will elevate wide receiver Dante Pettis and guard William Sherman. They will both help to provide depth to some short-handed position groups, while Pettis is likely to also contribute as a returner. 

The Saints also downgraded offensive lineman Barry Wesley from questionable to out. He is working to return from Injured Reserve, where he placed at roster cuts before the season began. 

Notable omissions include right tackle Taliese Fuaga and running back Alvin Kamara. Both of which are listed as questionable going into the game. It’s a positive to neither downgraded at this point.
