There are some players you never get tired of watching. New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis is one of them.
Now with over 100 tackles in 2025, he has crossed the century mark for the ninth consecutive year, including all eight in New Orleans. He leads the team in its Week 12 Pro Football Focus grades, setting up a run of impactful defensive players in a game that left a lot to be desired offensively.
Here are the highest and lowest grades given out to the Saints with at least 15 snaps
Top Five
- LB Demario Davis – 82.0
- DE Cameron Jordan – 74.6
- LT Kelvin Banks Jr. – 74.5
- DE Chase Young – 70.4
- WR Chris Olave – 70.4
Davis’ mean streak continues, but his fellow defensive front members, Jordan and Young, had their moments, as well. Each notched a sack on the day and combined for five total stops in the run game. Jordan is now up to 126 sacks, No. 19 all-time across the league and Young’s four sacks through 11 games puts him well on pace to exceed his 5.5 from last year.
Offensively, the Saints didn’t have much to celebrate, but the play of Olave and Banks did stand out as highlights. Banks was credited with three pressures surrendered. But his work in the run game boosted his overall grade. Olave’s 70 receiving yards as the lone focal point at wide receiver again led the team. Olave helped convert four first downs in the process.
Bottom Five
- TE Foster Moreau – 37.7
- DT Jonathan Bullard – 44.4
- S Jonas Sanker – 42.5
- LB Pete Werner – 40.6
- QB Tyler Shough – 49.5
While the defense has the stronger game as a whole, three defenders help make up the bottom five grades.
Sanker was credited with allowing just one catch for 23 receiving yards. His coverage play was dinged heavily bringing in 33.9 coverage grade which severely reduced the ceiling credited by his 74.8 run defense and 84.8 tackling grades. A curious equation for an otherwise strong day.
Werner’s grade was knocked down after being credited with two missed tackles and Bullard’s lone assisted tackle wasn’t enough to bolster his numbers.
Moreau’s grade dipped after his only target resulted in a drop, while Shough was penalized for his turnovers, the botched play fake with Alvin Kamara and his late interception.
