An LSU legacy has flipped.
Darryus McKinley, the brother of LSU defensive tackle Dominick, has decommitted from LSU and pledged to Ohio State on Wednesday. The Acadiana standout has been committed to LSU since August. He received an offer from Ohio State on October 30 and made the switch.

According to 247spots, McKinley is the 33rd ranked player in Louisiana for 2026 and No. 108 defensive lineman in the class.
Dominick was a five-star prospect when he signed with LSU after being committed to Texas A&M. He’s played in 21 games and made 16 tackles with four sacks, one as a sophomore.
Darryus is the second decommitment from LSU since Brian Kelly’s firing. The Tigers now have 15 commitments and a class ranked 12th by 247sports.
