Spanos, Stevens, Both to join LSU’s staff from Ole Miss

Three Ole Miss analysts are headed to Baton Rouge.

Lou Spanos, Dane Stevens and Donnie Both will leave Oxford and head to Baton Rouge to take a position on the LSU staff, LouisianaSports.net has learned.

Spanos is a defensive analyst who joined the Ole Miss staff in 2023. He was a defensive coordinator at UCLA in 2012 and 2013, an analyst on Alabama’s staff in 2018 and UConn’s defensive coordinator from 2019 to 2021 before becoming the Huskies’ interim head coach.

Stevens will be the quarterbacks coach at LSU after serving as assistant quarterback coach at Ole Miss for Jaxson Dart and Trinidad Chambliss. Stevens graduated from USC in 2019. Both is another young coach who graduated from NC State in 2020 and South Carolina in 2023.
