No Florida flip for Pensacola’s Trenton Henderson.
The four-star edge rusher stuck with his commitment to LSU and signed with the Tigers on Friday. LSU held off late pushes from Auburn and Florida State to keep the 6-foot-4, 225-pounder in the class.
Henderson is ranked as a top 10 edge rusher in the country by 247sports and ESPN and a top150 prospect by all three national services. He committed to LSU on July 2 of this year and never pulled that commitment after Brian Kely’s firing in October.
The Sunshine State native joins five stars Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson in a loaded defensive line class that could still include Georgia four-star Deuce Geralds. Henderson is the 13th signature LSU has received in the early period.
