The New Orleans Saints will be without several key starters in Week 14 as they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The team is already down its starting center Erik McCoy due to injury and traded away two starters at the trade deadline earlier in the season. The list of starters missing will grow Sunday against the Buccaneers. However, one key name in wide receiver Chris Olave will be active and ready to go for game time.
Here are the Saints’ inactives for Sunday’s Week 14 game:
- S Justin Reid (knee)
- CB Rejzohn Wright
- RB Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle)
- RT Taliese Fuaga (ankle)
- TE Zaire Mitchell-Paden
- DT John Ridgeway III
- DT Khristian Boyd
With Reid, Kamara and Fuaga out, the Saints will be without another trio of starters. The good news for New Orleans is that, along with Olave, rookie safety Jonas Sanker will be good to go for the matchup, as well.
Safety Ugo Amadi will be active to provide depth at safety and also contribute in special teams. It’s the first time the veteran safety will be active since the team’s Week 5 win over the New York Giants.
Kicker Charlie Smyth was elevated from the practice squad for this game and will be the team’s kicker for the matchup.
