Bryce Underwood can explore his options.
The former top ranked recruit who flipped his commitment from LSU to Michigan last year entered into an NIL contract with the Wolverines worth a reported eight figures over four years. That agreement does not include a buyout according to On3’s Pete Nakos.

Underwood had been committed to LSU for over a year before pledging to the home state Wolverines.
Michigan fired head coach Sherrone Moore for cause on Wednesday putting the future of the program in question. Of course, the offensive staff Underwood committed to in Baton Rouge will no longer be there after the Texas Bowl.
It’s unlikely Underwood could make anywhere near as much guaranteed money elsewhere as he can at Michigan because of the new NIL rules that force deals that size to be cleared by a clearinghouse. His current contract was grandfathered in.
Still, he could look at transfer options depending on who Michigan hires as Moore’s replacement.
Underwood threw for 2,229 yards and nine touchdowns as a true freshman starter. He was intercepted six times. He also ran for 323 yards and five scores.
