LSU 2025 offensive staff will be looking for jobs this offseason.
Co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton interviewed with Ohio State this week, LouisianaSports.net has learned.

Hankton has served as WR Coach at LSU since 2022 and added co-OC duties in 2024. Lane Kiffin brought George McDonald from Ole Miss.

Hankton joined LSU’s staff in 2022 under Brian Kelly as wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator. He was promoted to co-offensive coordinator with Joe Sloan prior to the 2024 season.
Brian Hartline, Ohio State’s offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach, took the South Florida head coaching job and will assume that role after the Buckeyes complete their College Football Playoff run.
George McDonald will join LSU’s staff under Lane Kiffin as wide receivers coach. He returned to Ole Miss for the College Football Playoff with future LSU staffers Charlie Weis Jr., Joe Cox, Sawyer Jordan and Dane Stevens.
