Ausberry spent two seasons at Auburn before returning to his hometown school for the last two years. He appeared in 12 games for the Tigers in 2024 but played in just four games this season to preserve his redshirt year. Ausberry did not record a statistic this season.
As a recruit, Ausberry was a four-star safety out of Baton Rouge (University), La. He was ranked No. 186 overall in the 247Sports Composite when he signed with Auburn.
Ausberry is the 14th LSU player expected to enter the portal when it opens Jan. 2. He will have one season of eligibility remaining.
