LSU is in the quarterback market, and a visit is already set up.
Brendan Sorsby, ESPN’s top-ranked portal prospect, will visit Texas Tech on Friday and continue on to Baton Rouge from there according to Pete Thamel.

Sorsby began his career at Indiana and has been Cincinnati’s starter the last two seasons. He was the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year in 2024 and threw for 2800 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2025. He’s a 6-foot-3 dual threat at the position, adding 580 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground as a redshirt junior.
LSU currently has one scholarship quarterback on the roster, Michael Van Buren. The transfer portal opened on Friday and remains open until Jan. 16. Players on College Football Playoff rosters have until Jan. 24 to enter.
