Staub has spent three seasons as a Buffalo and made a pair of starts. The first came as a true freshman in 2023. The second came in Week 3 of 2025 when Colorado took on Houston.
He’s 53-for-98 for 681 yards and four touchdowns for his career and was intercepted four times in 2025.
Staub was a consensus three-star recruit when he signed with Colorado. He’s 6-foot-1, 200 lbs., and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
LSU has signed Sam Leavitt and Elon transfer Landen Clark at the position. The Tiger coaching staff plans to add at least one more scholarship player to the group.
