LSU has dipped down to the FCS for another offensive line transfer.
Nicholls freshman Ja’Mard Jones has pledged to the Tigers. Jones is a product of Archbishop Rummel in Metairie. He played six games for the Colonels in his first collegiate season.

In addition to his all-state honors on the gridiron at Rummel, Jones was a three-time all-district basketball player who scored more than 1,000 points in his career. He stands 6-foot-4 and tips the scales at 295 lbs.
Jones joins offensive line transfers Darrin Stray, William Satterwhite, Ja’Quon Sprinkle and Ja’Kolby Jones as LSU attempts to revamp a depleted group up front. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
